Learn the basics of portraiture from talented local artist, Charlotte Hamilton!

In this class you will learn how to proportion a portrait.  You will work from real-life, drawing ourselves and each other.
You’ll learn how to see different values to create shape and form.

Materials used : pencils and markers

All materials will be provided. Just bring yourselves and your love for Art.

Artist Bio

Born in England, Charlotte Hamilton studied at St. Martin’s School of Arts and Design in London.In 1991, Charlotte moved to Mallorca, Spain where she furthered her Art education at a traditional Art School.

Although her painting was still a major part of her Life, Interior Decoration took a lead role in her career.  Charlotte found a niche within the world of Antiquing and Paint Effects using her skills to create Murals and Fine Art Decoration within private homes.

In the year 2000, Charlotte’s heart led her to Toronto. Leaving her business back in Europe, she started afresh and formed what is now known as Blueshine ART.

Today, Charlotte is a resident of the Durham Region and now teaches Art classes to Adults and Children, as well as sketching and painting on a daily basis.
